About the PTA

Our PTA supports what matters the most: our kids and teachers in their classrooms. With parent volunteers, membership dues and donations we host fun community events, publish a bi-weekly e-newsletter, organize fundraisers and produce a yearbook. We also recognize, appreciate and feed our teachers and staff throughout the year.

How You Can Help:

Join. After paying minimal pre-set dues to the national, state and county parent PTA organizations, your dues go straight back into the school to benefit our students and teachers. (Although all families are welcome at any PTA event or meeting, by charter only paid members can vote on PTA business and how to spend the funds raised.) Information on how to join is posted in August.

Volunteer. Have only a little bit of free time — just an hour or two? We say, “Thank you.” Whatever you can give, we are grateful. And we pretty much guarantee you will make some new friends while you help. Keep an eye out for PTA volunteer opportunities and sign-up genius forms posted in the e-newsletter, blog and Facebook Page.

Attend PTA-sponsored events. You will have a chance to get to know other students and families outside of the classroom. Your kids will get to know their school outside of pencils, notebooks, and homework. We are a great way to have fun while doing good. Please check the PTA calendar for the next upcoming event.
